Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided electric forklifts for palletized material movement in -20°F to 40°F environments
- Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanning technology
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and cold weather PPE requirements
- Coordinate with warehouse team for efficient dock operations
- Participate in monthly safety training and equipment recertification
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (training provided if needed)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience in cold storage environments
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Clean driving record and pre-employment drug screening required
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts including nights/weekends
