Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (Stand-up, Reach, or Pallet Jack) to load, unload, and stack materials with accuracy.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring inventory counts match documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse workspace to prevent hazards.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and shipping timelines.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
