Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up) to move pallets, raw materials, and finished goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs to prevent downtime
- Load/unload trucks using proper stacking techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow
- Support warehouse cleanliness and organization standards
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends as needed
