Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to transport goods throughout the facility
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counting processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized storage areas and dock operations
- Train on new equipment and procedures as technology evolves
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse forklift operation experience
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory verification and documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
