Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with OSHA standards
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading processes and meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems and digital tracking tools
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and participate in regular training sessions
- Support cross-functional teams in inventory audits and cycle counts
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse environment
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
