Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Follow strict OSHA safety protocols and warehouse procedures at all times
- Assist with inventory management, stacking, and organizing materials in designated areas
- Collaborate with warehouse team to maintain efficient workflow and meet production targets
- Document activities and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
- Participate in regular training sessions to update skills on new equipment and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse or industrial setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional overtime
