Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse/dock environments
- Execute inventory receiving, putaway, and order fulfillment with 99.5% accuracy
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance documentation
- Train new operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Coordinate with supervisors to optimize loading/unloading workflows
- Maintain clean, organized workspace per OSHA standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (must provide documentation)
- 2+ years recent industrial forklift experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic inventory management system experience
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
