Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in warehouse and distribution environments
- Load, unload, and move raw materials, finished products, and other goods efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to streamline inventory management and order fulfillment
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Document inventory movements and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
- Support cross-functional teams during peak operational periods and special projects
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within first week of employment)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
