Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure proper functioning of all safety features and mechanical components.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock organization to ensure optimal warehouse flow.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding equipment operation and workplace safety.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and pallet stacking.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Proven experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for reading scales and measuring inventory accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Valid driver's license (Class B CDL not required but a plus).
