Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., Reach Trucks, Order Pickers) to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse facility.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure all safety mechanisms are functioning correctly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting cycle counts and updating the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Organize warehouse storage areas to optimize space utilization and improve workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production quotas and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license or valid certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics setting.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety compliance.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and record maintenance.
