Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Control: Conduct accurate inventory counts and maintain organized stock records to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking and packing orders accurately and timely to meet daily production targets.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of machinery and report any mechanical issues to maintenance immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment and ensure aisles are clear for safe navigation.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts or heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. Good vision and depth perception are essential.
- Background Check: Must be willing to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory management and order processing.
