Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks and conveyors.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and report maintenance needs to management immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are organized.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational policies.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
