Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently in accordance with all company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to and from designated storage areas, trucks, and loading docks with precision and care.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper tagging and stock organization.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the organization of pallets and fulfillment of daily shipping and receiving orders.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and navigating uneven terrain.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and shift reports.
