Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is organized and easily accessible.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Perform routine cleaning and organization of workstations and aisles.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and warehouse procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking software.
