Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and company procedures to prevent workplace incidents
- Assist with inventory management and accurate documentation of warehouse activities
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with all regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations
- Train new team members on equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory and record-keeping tasks
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
