Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products throughout the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Organize, stack, and tag merchandise according to company guidelines and inventory control procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all 5S workplace organization principles.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or inventory discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (CDL, Class A/B, or equivalent lift certification) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging data.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
