As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will ensure the efficient movement of inventory while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading dock.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and using RF scanners during put-away and picking processes.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and efficient stock rotation.
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license (valid for the equipment being operated).
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with handheld scanners or warehouse management software (WMS).
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
