Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safety compliance and proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock, checking tags, and documenting movements.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow, timely order fulfillment, and minimal downtime.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of trip hazards at all times.
- Assist in general warehouse duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Proven experience operating powered industrial trucks (sit-down forklift, reach truck, or order picker) in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, stock management, and scanning.
- Strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to workplace safety.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and work in varying temperature conditions.
