As a Forklift Operator at Apex, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that our inventory is processed efficiently and safely. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to work hard in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and organized according to inventory standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all 5S safety protocols.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (Forklift Operator License) is required.
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
