Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and verifying stock levels.
- Ensure all goods are stored securely and organized according to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (Class 1, 3, or 4).
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
