Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform daily inventory counts, cycle counts, and ensure accurate stock levels are maintained within the ERP system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies. Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Material Handling: Load and unload trucks with precision, ensuring products are secured and free from damage during transit.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, maintaining high accuracy rates.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping floors, organizing aisles, and removing debris.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class I-IV) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various terrains within the facility.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and order processing.
- Communication: Basic computer skills and ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
