Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- General Labor: Assist in packaging, labeling, and organizing stock areas to maintain high operational standards.
- Communication: Coordinate with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid forklift operator license (Class A, B, or C) and be OSHA compliant.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory and safety protocols.
- Reliability: Proven history of punctual attendance and work ethic.
- Communication: Basic ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
