Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move goods throughout the facility.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain organized storage areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator license (Forklift/Reach Truck/High Lift) and certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
