Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate stock counts, cycle counts, and manage inventory records to ensure data integrity.
- Freight Handling: Load, unload, and stage materials for shipping and receiving using proper safety protocols and equipment.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure a safe environment for all employees.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to streamline daily operations.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect goods for damage and ensure all shipping documents are correct before dispatch.
- Overtime Support: Be available for overtime shifts to meet peak season demands and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CPC or equivalent) is mandatory.
- Experience: Proven experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
- License: Valid Driver’s License required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and precision in handling goods.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
