As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring that inventory moves efficiently and safely. Whether you are an experienced operator or looking for a new start in logistics, we provide the training and support you need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Utilize RF scanners and handheld devices to accurately scan items and update inventory counts in real-time.
- Inspect forklifts for safety compliance before starting shifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Collaborate with pickers and packers to ensure order fulfillment targets are met daily.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly during shifts.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
