Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse setting
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team to optimize warehouse workflow efficiency
- Assist in unloading shipments and organizing storage areas
- Train new hires on safe forklift operation practices
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Flexible availability including weekends if needed
- Valid California driver's license preferred
