Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Drive and operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, verify, and stock incoming shipments using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Material Handling: Load and unload trucks with precision, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse environment to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies; perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of stock movements and report any discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current OSHA forklift operator certification (Class 1-4) is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to count, verify quantities, and ensure accuracy in inventory tracking.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
