Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Manage inventory with accuracy using scanning systems and digital tracking tools
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize storage layouts and workflow efficiency
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Assist in inventory audits and cycle counts as required
- Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with 5S principles
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) with 1+ years of experience
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Valid California driver's license preferred
