Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper handling of inventory to prevent damage or loss during storage and transport.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Prepare pallets for shipping and verify orders against shipping documents.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Prior experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- License: Valid Driver's License is required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency for reading safety labels and communicating with team leads.
