Responsibilities
- Safe Machinery Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inventory Handling: Load, unload, and move products to designated storage areas with precision and care.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Stock Management: Assist in cycle counts, inventory organization, and ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts to ensure they remain in good working order.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current OSHA forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- License: Valid driver's license is required.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
