Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues before and during operation and perform basic maintenance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper organization of stock areas.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse workflows and meet daily production targets.
- Perform quality control checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before shipping.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class 1, 3, or 4 preferred) or willingness to obtain one through our training program.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to read and comprehend safety guidelines, operation manuals, and inventory logs.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety compliance.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
