Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting maintenance needs promptly
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent workplace incidents
- Manage inventory through scanning systems and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized work areas and compliance with 5S standards
- Support cross-functional teams during peak operational periods and overtime shifts
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within first week of employment)
- Minimum 1 year of industrial forklift operation experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to read and interpret documents, labels, and instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperatures
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
