About the Role
As a Forklift Operator, you'll be the backbone of our supply chain. Your expertise in material handling ensures efficient warehouse operations while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move materials within warehouse and storage facilities
- Load/unload shipments and verify inventory accuracy
- Maintain equipment through daily inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Complete paperwork for inventory and equipment logs
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
