Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and loading docks
- Verify inventory accuracy using RF scanners and barcode systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and equipment maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S standards
- Complete daily equipment inspection logs and incident reports
- Assist in physical inventory counts and cycle counting procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory verification
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license preferred
