Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move materials within warehouse facilities
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Manage inventory documentation and coordinate with team members for accurate stock tracking
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline loading/unloading processes
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent hazards
- Assist in physical inventory counts and cycle counting activities
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 7 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse settings
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
