Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move products within warehouse and storage areas
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Load/unload trucks and containers with precision while documenting inventory movements
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize operational efficiency and meet deadlines
- Assist in inventory management and cycle count processes
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse or distribution setting
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation and order verification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
