Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within warehouse and distribution centers
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Manage inventory counts and documentation with precision
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Train and mentor new operators on equipment usage and safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification and valid DC driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
