Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in compliance with OSHA standards
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Accurately manage inventory using warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow 5S protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 48 hours)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience in warehouse/logistics setting
- Strong understanding of weight distribution and load balancing principles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Excellent communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Clean pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Reliable transportation to our downtown LA facility
