Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse settings
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Follow inventory protocols and accurately document material movements
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies
- Assist in warehouse organization and space utilization projects
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards promptly
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operation experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in fast-paced, temperature-controlled environments
- Valid Florida driver's license preferred
