Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using barcode scanners and warehouse management software.
- Keep warehouse aisles and storage areas organized to ensure efficient workflow and safety.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols regarding hazardous materials and heavy machinery.
- Collaborate with team leads to prepare orders for shipment and maintain accurate shipping logs.
- Assist in general warehouse housekeeping duties as required.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA 10/30 preferred or willing to get certified).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow safety instructions and logs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
