As a critical member of our operations team, you will ensure the seamless flow of goods through our distribution center during our peak night operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of forklifts and work areas to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S standards.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols strictly.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class 1, 3, or 4) required.
- Ability to work night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar rotation).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Milwaukee facility.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory.
