Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and organizing storage areas efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current OSHA forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data and operating warehouse management software.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
