Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (reach trucks, order pickers, and sit-down forklifts) to move, locate, and stock merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely and organized manner, ensuring cargo security.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and scanning barcodes.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
