Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Ensure all inventory is accurately documented in the warehouse management system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class B preferred but not always required for entry-level, training provided).
- Previous experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, or Order Picker) in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and logging.
