Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and report equipment malfunctions immediately
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet daily targets
- Organize and maintain clean, orderly storage areas
- Assist in training new operators on equipment and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) and 1+ years of recent experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Forklift experience in warehouse or distribution setting preferred
