Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks in warehouse setting
- Load/unload trucks with precision while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Maintain organized storage systems and FIFO inventory rotation
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Train new hires on equipment operation and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) a plus
