Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Ensure accurate inventory management through systematic stock rotation and tracking
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflow efficiency
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory documentation
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience in warehouse or distribution setting
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety standards and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with basic math and inventory tracking skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
