Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and railcars, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of goods.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse floor to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
- Assist in inventory management by counting stock and verifying shipments against purchase orders.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Certification (CDL Class A or B is a plus).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery or forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Valid Texas Driver's License.
