Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain organized storage areas to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping shipments.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (CDL Class B is a plus but not required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and counting.
