Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for moving, locating, and retrieving merchandise by driving a forklift and other heavy equipment. We prioritize safety and efficiency in our daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to designated storage areas.
- Perform inventory checks and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations (OSHA).
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Report any mechanical issues with equipment immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
